What should be paid attention to when processing double-sided adhesive die cutting? The following is an introduction to you. Generally, when cutting double-sided adhesive tape, if the cutting tool is not adjusted properly or the blade is not sharp enough, cracks will appear on the top or bottom paper of the double-sided adhesive tape, and the fibers pulled out from the cracks will be stuck by the adhesive. The occurrence of cracks may be continuous or random, and may occur on one or both sides of the double-sided tape on the reel. Therefore, before machining the double-sided tape, it is necessary to carefully inspect whether there are small cracks on the backing paper and the backing paper. Then, take a sample piece of paper that has undergone the above inspection, peel off the backing paper, and check again whether there are cracks on the backing paper and the backing paper, as cracks can sometimes be very small, It can only be found after separating the backing paper and the top paper.

Check whether there are burrs in the die-cutting process of double-sided adhesive tape

The smooth and clean edges of the double-sided tape on the reel are the basis for ensuring the quality of the double-sided tape. Therefore, before processing, it is necessary to carefully inspect the slitting edges of the double-sided tape on the reel for burrs and damage due to improper storage and transportation. In addition, it is necessary to roll down the double-sided tape on the reel for 4-5 turns and carefully inspect the slitting edges.

Check whether the edges of the double-sided adhesive tape adhere and whether the backing paper is missing silicon

Adhesion of the edges of the double-sided adhesive tape or the omission of silicone oil on some areas of the backing paper can cause the top paper to break during waste discharge during processing and prevent normal production. Therefore, before processing, take a piece of adhesive material about 1 meter long and peel it off by hand to see if there are any edges or other parts that cannot be peeled smoothly and uniformly. Generally, the adhesion of the edges of the top and bottom paper occurs on a cut roll of the entire roll of coated adhesive material, and generally only occurs at the outer layer of 7-10 meters. Therefore, if there is adhesion on the edges of the cut roll of double-sided adhesive tape, do not immediately assert that the entire roll of paper has this defect.

In addition, it should be noted that peeling off light weight face paper (such as 60g/m2 and 80g/m2 face paper) requires greater force than peeling off heavy weight face paper. The lighter the face paper, the tighter the handle when peeling off. Because of this, sometimes according to the shape of customer requirements to die cutting, the customer's choice of double-sided tape is unable to be completed at conventional processing speeds.
